Started in 1996, Trophy Trailers began as a solution to fold-down trailers of the time that were dangerous and poorly built. Scott Marrier, with his 40+ years in the boating industry, needed a better trailer to haul pontoons on sales trips. Not finding anything that could handle the miles he was putting on, he decided to design one himself. Never being one to go halfway, Scott, like everything else he'd done in his life, went all out and designed what would later be referred to as a "tank" of a trailer. Just like it's designer, it wasn't the prettiest thing to look at, but it was a wild success. What started as a solution for Scott soon caught fire and became the industry standard for fold-down trailers. Since then, Scott took the same mindset and designed what has now become the strongest and most durable aluminum utility trailer on the market. There have been many imitators over the years, but there is still only one Scott Marrier and only one Trophy Trailer.
